INNOVATIONS 4 ENTREPRENEURS REGIONAL WINNER PITCH:

Communication Integrity Group, Olathe, KS

Communication Integrity Group a winner in Comcast contest

Communication Integrity Group (CIG), located in Olathe, KS, has been chosen as a regional winner in the 2015 Innovations 4 Entrepreneurs (I4E) program, sponsored by Comcast Business.  The locally-based communications company will receive a $10,000 cash award to help grow their business, and is also in the running for an additional $20,000 grand prize cash award and consultation services from nationally recognized business management experts and Comcast executives.

In an online essay, CIG said it would use its cash award to continue to enhance the hardware and software of their voice and data networks in order to deliver the best technological advances to their customers.   In addition, the money will be used to not only increase their own productivity, profitability and professionalism, but to grow that knowledge base and share it with customers though true working examples.  CIG customers can first observe how technology will improve their business, and then implement those findings directly to their respective operations.

Six businesses from across the country will be selected as national 2015 I4E Grand Prize winners. Each will receive $20,000 and a trip to Comcast Business headquarters in Philadelphia, where they will have the opportunity to receive one-on-one consulting with nationally recognized business experts: Patrick Fitzgerald, MB & Undergrad Entrepreneurship Lecturer at the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania and DreamIt Ventures Managing Director; Robert Irvine, Celebrity Chef and Entrepreneur; and Comcast senior executives.

“To be a small business owner, a dreamer, a doer and entrepreneur and to get any recognition is overwhelming,” stated Gary Horn, Digital Architect for CIG.   “We are so excited and honored to have been selected to be a regional winner of the I4E contest and by our peers and industry gurus, who know just how hard it is to run a business today. As a growing business, this prize is such a huge help.  Comcast is a great community supporter and they understand small business owners, and recognize the struggles.   To offer this type of benefit, speaks volumes.”

Public voting for the final round of winners has now closed, with the Grand Prize winners announced the week of June 1, 2015.  The full release is included below:
